Design Concept
Guided by the design philosophy of “Shaping Fantasy Through Curves, Designing for Growth,” the project draws inspiration from Gaudí’s belief that “the straight line belongs to man, the curve belongs to God.” Mosaic textures, fluid sculptural forms, and dreamlike color palettes are used to craft an artistic and immersive play environment.
A narrative journey led by the Cat Knight connects the entire circulation system, with spaces designed around five core dimensions of childhood development. Through free exploration, children engage in physical exercise, sensory discovery, and emotional growth, forming a playful and memorable fairy-tale adventure world.

Core Landscape Design
01 Fantasy Oasis · The Beginning of Adventure
A vibrant palette of sunset orange and fresh green establishes the visual identity of the space, complemented by clusters of date palms and ornamental planting to evoke the atmosphere of a fairy-tale oasis.
Interactive features such as cat-themed trampolines, cat-ear musical walls, and swings activate children’s visual, auditory, and tactile senses, sparking curiosity at the start of the adventure journey.
02 Canyon Passage · Obstacle Exploration
A winding canyon-inspired pathway forms the main circulation route, framed by Gaudí-style mosaic walls illustrated with scenes from the Cat Knight story.
Obstacle play elements and a sunken mountain camp are integrated throughout the route, alongside recessed seating and rocking toys that support both children’s exploration and parental supervision, enhancing interaction and engagement within the space.
03 Cave Discovery · Courage Challenge
A steep and meandering cave structure creates an immersive adventure setting, where dramatic contrasts of light, shadow, and color evoke a mysterious fantasy realm.
Integrated climbing facilities encourage children to challenge themselves physically and mentally, improving balance, orientation, strength, and resilience through exploratory play.
04 Castle Quest · The Grand Finale
A two-level fantasy castle serves as the centerpiece of the playground, featuring dual slides and three-dimensional climbing nets that create a multi-layered adventure experience.
At the base of the castle, a Cat Knight themed photo spot allows children to step into the role of the story’s hero, completing the narrative journey with a sense of achievement and ceremony.
Design Summary
Breaking away from the conventional model of children’s playgrounds, the project combines artistic expression, fairy-tale storytelling, and developmental play into a cohesive experiential landscape.Through an immersive adventure sequence, the design balances play value, safety, and educational meaning, encouraging children to explore the world, challenge themselves, and expand their imagination. The result is a high-quality children’s activity space where art, narrative, and growth coexist — a warm and memorable “fairy-tale home” for childhood memories.
